From the time I was about five years old, I’ve been fascinated with the writing universe. In fact, one of my favorite pictures is of me writing in my very first journal, my parents watching from the couch behind me. After that, I was obsessed with pencils, paper, envelopes, stamps, books-anything even slightly related to my favorite hobby, my heart would long for.

Years ago, it seemed plain stick pens were the only option available. Occasionally, I would find a novelty pen that I would delight in, but that would be of poor quality for one reason or another— the ink wouldn’t flow right, it would dry up quickly, the pen was too difficult to write with, and so on. One of my first “real” jobs after college was in a hospital. Pharmaceutical company sales reps would visit often and leave bags of promotional products for the employees-pens, coffee mugs, notepads, sticky notes, mouse pads, magnets, and even ball caps. Since I wasn’t a doctor or nurse, I wasn’t first in line for the promos, but usually a few of the promo pens would filter on down to me and my co-workers. I remember being giddy anytime I was in the office when such goodies were delivered.
Free pens! I knew it was hugely nerdy for me to be so excited about such a thing, but excited I was. And I was even more delighted to find out how good the quality of these promotional ink pens was. These pens were nicer than the pens I bought in the stores. Even when I indulged my passion and bought $4 or $5 pens, these freebies were as good if not better. The grips were nice, the colors were bright, the ink flowed well, and the different promotions on them made me feel so grown up. Someone cared enough about what I thought to give me a pen with their product on it! Again, nerdy… but effective. When I struck out to start my own business several years ago, I took joy in ordering business cards, magnets, and notepads. My new goal is pens with my own logo. Now to just choose…

These Phat Boy pens have a built in carabiner! These would make the perfect promotional ink pens for any profession that is on-the-go. From construction to hospital work, for anyone that will lose their pen if they don’t clip it somewhere (teachers, nurses, doctors, and students, just to name a few), to an outdoors store, these promo pens will definitely be picked up.

The simple elegance of this pen is a great promotional item. The price point makes it a very affordable, discount promotional item that business executives, editors, and professionals will want to hold onto.

These fun and vibrant colored pens have matching-colored gel inks in them! What could be more fun for craft and scrapbooking customers, schools, daycares, or anyone wanting to bring color into their customers’ lives?

Last but not least, this is the belle of the ball. The uber executive pen that clients will be making sure gets returned if borrowed. This beauty is the Cadillac, the Lexus, the BMW, the Porsche of the promotional pen products. It is regal, it is elegant, it oozes sophistication. Go on, your business is worth it!
